Dallas does it: 3D Nail Art

I use to always get a plain jane full set of acrylic nails until about 3 months ago when I discovered the glam of 3D Nail Art! I searched high and low for a good place in town and thus far I have only found 3 really good places (2 of which I have visited myself and the other which I have heard about!)

Here's some pics of my nails and where I got them done!

Location: Exy Nails - Dallas, TX

*The women who run this nail salon are hilarious!  They do a great job, their friendly, and they take to time to really listen to what you want. They also super glue all of the nail designs like freakin' crazy - my vegas nails (pictured above) stayed on for 3 weeks with all my designs still goin' strong on week 3!

Location: Paris Nails Salon - Little Elm, TX

*The younger woman who I think either owns or co-owns the store is really good! I didn't use a very good nail liquor so my nails have already started chipping (only had them for 2 weeks now) but if I would have used OPI or a similar name brand it probably would have worked out in my favor. They have a TON of different designs and options for nail art. I've seen some of their work and some people go crazy with the nail art at this salon because the option in there. I, however, kept it Chanel classy!

Location: Nails by Sandra O. - Dallas, TX

*I have never been to Sandra O, but judging by her Instagram pictures she is AMAZING at doing 3D Nail Art! Her contact info is on her Instagram - I believe you have to call or text her for an appointment but this girl knows what she's doing and if you really want quality glam I'd take the time to go see her!

Holiday Gift Guide: For Her

I love love love the winter holiday season! The best part for me is being able to give the people I love gifts that are unique and fun. I work in the gift industry, which means I travel a lot to trade shows all across the country and work with many boutique buyers, so I definitely get to see a lot of really cool stuff and meet some really great people. I love supporting vendors I work alongside with or have met through the years of working shows - so I put together a little Holiday Gift Guide For Her list for all of you out there who don't know what to get the woman in your life with some of my favorite gifts from vendors I adore!

I'll post a For Him Gift Guide later on in the week with more gifting inspiration (because lets face it, men are impossible to shop for!)

Bucket List

I've always thought of blogging as a weird way of sort of.. talking to yourself..which essentially, you are. But, I'm hoping that in years to come I wont just be blogging for the hell of it - I'll be speaking to an audience. When I finally decided to say 'screw it' and start my own blog I came to a screeching halt as I thought 'what do I want to say to myself that later down the road I will look back on and be happy with?' So for my first post I decided to post some of the very important things on my bucket list which I hope to one day be able to enjoy!

Love Always,
Dakota J.
